so pretty much my life is boring right now. it's weird because i am not totally unhappy with this turn of events. i don't know if i am resigned? or what? mostly i just work, hear about people being sick (tally is now up to three serious illnesses 2 family/1 friend) and try to fit in sleeping. i also eat a ton, which i need to stop asap. two jobs means i am not really having to budget to pay bills anymore so i can support my lesportsac addiction. i bought a cute digital camera so i have some photos of the kids to show you- lulu and jasper jenny and beast.

Me and Mags will be having our third joint birthday party/holiday (by default) get-together on Monday December 18th at 8:30 pm at the lovely Dormont Lanes. It's BYOB (no glass--flasks and cans and cups only) and byo snacks too. Give me your email address if you want our fancy evite.

in other news my life is completely so busy with two jobs and my lovely sweetheart and stupid christmas shopping and my crazy family. annoying! i miss my old lazy sleep in life. trader joe's is intense with tons of gayz and hard serious labor.

i just got back from new hampshire where i was visiting my lovely ladyfriend. i got to meet her family and it was interesting and i really felt like i had to be on my best behavior since she is very close to them and i want to be with her for a very,very long time. we went to a huge fair and petted baby pigs and i saw a fancy chicken with a haircut that reminded me of my mom's.

and out for a fancy lunch at this restaurant that was built in 1780 or something and was the inspiration for grandma's house in a 1940's illustrated version of 'little red riding hood'. all of the food had at the very least five intense herbs picked from the garden and it was suprisingly good. it's kind of weird to find someone that is so perfectly suited to you, it doesn't feel weird at all though, it just feels really 'right'. it's hard to be apart from her and we are stuck in a long distance dilemma about moving and jobs and all of the things that happen when states keep you from waking up next to each other all of the time. and to think that i had all but given up on finding anyone so special! i was planning and maybe even looking forward to a solitary life of making things and cleaning and organizing and being the perpetual third/fifth/eleventh wheel around the all the couples for the rest of my days.

i love it so much though.

i picked up like eight new heirloom tomato plants yesterday! i am so excited even if it is too rainy to plant them yet.

the puppy's name is: JASPER. sort of a team dresch reference (i know, how gay) and baby name book influence. i love him already. he is very slothlike and loves sleeping and cuddling. he pretty much knows how to sit now. i wish it wasn't so cold so this potty training issue would go a little easier.
